Luther Young is a Sociology Ph.D. student studying the interconnectedness of various forms of oppression by virtue of their shared foundation in white supremacy, which requires all of us to talk about race, especially whiteness, and recognize its pervasive effects in order to eliminate the “-isms” from our society.
